This layer represents the method and reference batches used to level the original geochemistry data to a reference dataset. A URL to metadata with links to the levelling report containing correction factors, and levelled data for download, is included. The four main levelling methods that may be displayed are: 1) Single-Standard: A single multiplication based correction factor, generated by comparing the analysed standards of the reference batch with the standards analysed as part of the data to be levelled; 2) Multi-Standard: A linear regression based correction factor using the medians of a group of standards analysed as part of the reference batch and the batch that is being levelled; 3) Re-Analysis: A linear regression based correction factor using the analysis results of the same sample from a reference batch and a reanalysed batch. This method is used to level old surveys into modern data using a small subset of reanalysed samples; d) Reference: No levelling has been undertaken on this data, it represents the data that has been levelled to.

This layer provides access to the geochemistry dataset produced from the Industry Geochemistry Compilation (IGC) Pilot Project in Western Australia. The dataset comprises a cleaned and validated compilation of high-quality industry drillhole multi-element geochemical data sourced from the Geological Survey of Western Australia's (GSWA) Company Mineral Drillhole Database (MDHDB) containing drillhole geochemistry extracted from Western Australian open-file exploration reports (WAMEX). The IGC Pilot Project was contracted to RSC Global over a 4-month period ending June 30 2025, and in collaboration with GSWA. For more information on this dataset, refer to associated reports for this pilot found here: https://dx.doi.org/10.26186/150804.
