Sources of ore metals component of the final prospectivity map of tholeiitic intrusion-hosted Ni-Cu-PGE deposits. This layer is a combination of input layers; Ultramafic or ultramafic-mafic rocks; Mafic-ultramafic rocks; MgO ≥ 12%; Tholeiitic units and events; High Ni abundances; High Cu abundances; and High PGE abundances. A weighted sum (feature weight) calculation was performed on the input layers. The resulting layers were then added using a weighted sum (equal weight) calculation to give the output raster. |
