Dual Carriageway - Divided Highway, Freeway, Tollway, or other road with a physical separation of carriageways via remnant land, significant carriageway height variation or constructed barrier preventing movement of vehicles between carriageways. Each carriageway has opposite directions of traffic flow but the same name and other common core attributes.
Road Bridge Line - A structure erected over a depression or obstacle to carry road traffic.
Road Causeway - An embankment of earth or masonry erected across open water or an area subject to inundation and carrying a road.
Standard Road - A route for the movement of vehicles contained within a single carriageway. These roads have sufficient levels of maintenance or construction for two wheel drive access in normal weather conditions for the region. Traffic flow may be one or two way and vehicles are able to cross between traffic lanes freely. |
