Description: All features have been derived or generalised from the 250K data capture and carry a Classification (CLASS) attribute value of “Dual Carriageway”, “Principal Road” or “Secondary Road”. Dual Carriageway - Divided Highway, Freeway, Tollway, or other road with a physical separation of carriageways via remnant land, significant carriageway height variation or constructed barrier preventing movement of vehicles between carriageways. Each carriageway has opposite directions of traffic flow but the same name and other common core attributes. Standard Road - A route for the movement of vehicles contained within a single carriageway. These roads have sufficient levels of maintenance or construction for two wheel drive access in normal weather conditions for the region. Traffic flow may be one or two way and vehicles are able to cross between traffic lanes freely. Activated in a scale range between approximately 1:2 million and 1:300,000.
