Service Description: This web service provides access to the Foundation Facilities Points dataset. This contains the spatial location of publicly available data showing private and public hospitals, aged care facilities, education facilities and emergency management facilities. Educational buildings have ONLY been loaded for QLD, NSW, VIC and TAS due to licensing limitations with other states.This service will be decommissioned on the 26/09/2026 and will not be replaced. The equivalent of the Foundation Facilities data is now available within the following datasets: 147776: Emergency Management Facilities DatabaseDedicated spatial datasets for hospitals and aged care services can be found on the Digital Atlas of Australia: Digital Atlas of AustraliaFor education facilities, a list of Australian schools with coordinates included is available at the Australia Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA): ACARA - Data Access Program.
